Heavy snows caused mudslides near Oakridge, OR. The snow and trees make a nice backdrop for the DT 4000 doing work in this area.

SPS 5220 doing ditch work between Corbin and Richmond, KY. On one of CSXT’s busiest and heaviest tonnage Mainlines, but after severe flooding took place in Central Indiana, the SPS Unit was transferred to Greencastle, IN. (about 45 miles south of Indianapolis) and began hauling rock to several washed out areas along their right of way. Here’s a photo of the last of a single bucket of rock being place in a “wash out” hole, one of thousands that will be necessary to replace the CSXT’s Right of Way to normal operating condition.
